I woke up the other morning at 1AM to meep, meepmeep,meeep, meep , meep..six times and then a pause.
Yes, a pause. And then all over again............
Most of my fire alarm batteries went out at the same time, ONE AM and if you have ever been upstairs in my 1800sq. foot house you will see four fire alarms in the hall and then TWO fire alarms in each room and a sprinkler system in case of a fire.
yup we're safe.
I unhooked all of the fire alarms that I could find that were beeping, because when they're right next to each other it is kind of hard to tell which of the two is making the noise!! Plus bleary eyed..
Then, I snuggled myself back into bed at about one fifteen.....
to meeepmmmepppmeepmeep mmeep..again, I had taken out the dang batteries!!!!!!!
So I got back up, pulled four off the the wall, two in my bedroom and two right outside my bedroom door. They were still beeping after I took them OFF and didn't die down for like five minutes
When I began to worry..maybe there is some kind of gas in the air I can't smell? But, I went back to bed and decided I just have dumb fire alarms.
I was tired.
